The Arizona Herbarium and CONABIO agreed to start data repatriation of Mexican specimens harbour at that herbarium, since 2000, to integrate them into CONABIO’S National Biodiversity Information System (SNIB). Repatriated data from the Arizona Herbarium correspond to 132 families of plants to Poaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Leguminosae, Compositae, Lamiaceae, Solanaceae, etc. A total of corresponding to 1,037 genera and 5,674 species. Most specimens were collected between 1800 and 2002 and contains type specimens. CONABIO has geo-referenced records from 10,763 localities from a total of 29, 709 specimens lacking this information.
