The Copepod Collection contains information from three areas of the Mexican Pacific; the west coast of Baja California, the Gulf of California and the coast of Sinaloa, Sonora, Michoacan y Guerrero. This information includes from 60% to 80% of the zooplankton found in the areas mentioned above. It also includes information on the pelagic copepods found at the Magdalena Bay, South Baja California. The data base, which belongs to SNIB, has 962 curatorial records from 33 families, 78 genera and 228 species.
