The database contains information of the various species collected in the Bahía de la Ascención (monthly from July 1990 to August 1991) and Bahía de Chetumal (in August, October and December 1990 and February and May 1991) and in the neritic and oceanic zones of the Mexican Caribbean Sea (February, March, May, August and November 1991, ARCOMM-I cruise August 1986). In total, it includes 35 species from more than 300 samples of zooplankton collected at 56 different sampling sites. The information contained in the database of this collection pertains to the SNIB and includes 2 136 registries of samples corresponding to 6 families, 20 genera and 35 species of Siphonophores.
